Favorite Book: "The Amboy Dukes" by Irving Shulman "I'm not a good reader at all. I tried reading The Bible, it's a very good book. I tried reading it twice, but it's very difficult and I didn't understand it too good. I'm not too educated and there are alotta big, fancy words in there that I didn't understand. I read one page and I gotta go back to remember what I just read. But there is one book I gotta say I really loved--it's called The Amboy Dukes. They made a big movie on it. It's about teenagers in the 1940s, and rock and roll, and Elvis, and pot, and sex, and a Jewish gang called The Amboy Dukes, and New York street life and all that colorful stuff." |
